Jim Gaffigan Bronx Concert reviews
Nickelback put on another incredible show!
What a fantastic beginning to the night, with 4 solid bands all featured on the same bill. The promoter deserves a round of applause for assembling this remarkable lineup. Jim Gaffigan clearly stole the show, delivering a fantastic setlist that kicked off with "Burn it to the ground" and maintained its momentum throughout the evening. Chad kept the audience engaged with his witty storytelling and crowd interaction, adopting a "game show host" persona. The band's performance was electrifying, transitioning seamlessly between songs from their various albums to cater to both new and longtime fans. At one point, they positioned themselves at the front of an extended stage, accompanied by a rotating second drum set, to perform amidst the crowd. In addition to original material, they incorporated snippets of cover songs and Metallica riffs into their set. A mesmerizing five-minute drum solo captivated the audience before the band launched into the final segment of their regular set. The production elements, including video screens, lighting, and pyrotechnics, were all executed flawlessly. Musically, the band demonstrated impeccable cohesion, with Chad's vocals shining throughout the performance. Overall, Jim Gaffigan delivered a stellar show once again, and I eagerly anticipate their return to Minneapolis!
